The current feature car is a 1969 Hurst/Olds owned by Alan Mantei of Oswego,
Illinois. It is one of about 906 cars of its type built that
year and is one of at least 3 in the local chapter. Al has owned his
since 1979 and has been an OCA member since just before purchasing it (that's a
big stack of JWOs). It has 62,000 original miles and had a frame off
restoration done in the early 1980s. It has just about every possible
option available and he's hoping that it will see a bit more road and sun this year.
It has only seen 10,000 miles in the last 22 years including a couple
of road trips to National meets in Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and Lansing.
